I aquired a rim and most of the holes are oblonged. I think I read that these are hub centric instead of lugcentric ?? Any thoughts or just a big fat no-no?

The bottom hole rotted out, so I re-inforced the others with SS fender washers in the inside, and rebent the bottom brace to eliminate it, and used it up top for the support. It looks MUCH MUCH better.
