I need to fix my quick disconnect.

I'm going to buy a backup T-stat housing so I can have one on hand, when I make this repair to guarantee no down time.

If I find a single housing, can I use that? Or is there more parts than just the tstat housing involved in switching from singe to double? I've had great luck with the double, but it seems to make pump adjustments tougher, and its hard to find them on ebay.

Thanks.

I have a double off of 98-00 model engine I would sell you if you want to go that way! I won't be able to pull it until this coming weekend though.

The upper radiator hose is different so you'll need a hose to match the year the single stat came off of.
