Brutus was cranking a little slow so it was time for some new batteries, we have been working with East Penn at work so they gave me a couple of 778MF Ultimate Deka's to try out, It cranks scary fast now, they are 850 CCA East Penn is the Last US battery Manufacturer left and the Best IMHO

This is the new DP configuration I will be selling soon, it uses a 3 inch pipe all the way and the turbo plate is a custom one I had laser cut with a 3 inch hole instead of the 2 1/2 inch, One for a HX40 is also in the works, I will also be ready with the oil drain Kit in a couple weeks
About the last thing that I didnt like on Brutus was the tailgate, after 200k of being a Plumbers truck the gate was beat down and rough, so I cut the middle out moved the latch down and painted it Victory Red, It makes hooking up to Sissy a breeze and looks cool
A little over a month ago i took a job with a very large Chinese Company as the lead Wire Tech in their prototype division, It takes alot of my time and is very lucritive $$$ as a result I will no longer be building the downpipe and waste gate kits, I will still be doing the Batt Cables and GP...
We are heading out in the am to Fancy Gap then on to the Blue Ridge parkway, end up in the Great Smokie Mountain NP for Sun and Mon, about 350+ miles of Mountains, gonna be fun
The last trip to the mountains My 4L80E was running a little hotter than I like, I have been wanting to get rid of the OEM rubber lines for some time so It was time to fix it up, Building the mount was quite time consuming and took alot of fitting, welding and Head scratching so I didnt document...

I was crawling around under Brutus the other day and grabbed the rear driveshaft and noticed the rear u joint was a tick loose, so I jumper in my parts car and headed over to Roush Yates Parts, They have thousands of used racing parts there grabbed a driveshaft off the rack walked up to the desk...
Im in the process of building my first set of 2/0 Cables for the Duramax and I have to ask a couple questions, do you ever use the + connection that junctions in the Red Box? Im wondering how necessary it is, If I do use it I will run a 2 gauge wire to it and the 2/0 will go straight from the...
Ive been trying a few different set ups, what im looking for is better control of the WG by the spring, The arm is short on the HX series turbos so leverage is at a premium with the spring control, I built a new arm for my turbo with a Heim, Heres the Arm I have about 2 hours in it, the hard...

I get asked from Time to time what kind of fancy alignment jig we have for setting up race cars I tell them we don't, we use String and tape measures to set them up even at places like Daytona or Talladega, Why not some high dollar laser guided jig? Because the way Im going to show you is more...
This is the same mount that I built for Brutus to mount the Racor 230R Water Separator/ Fuel Filter on, It really makes life alot easier, after I put mine on I took the old FFM off, this will work with any of the 6.5s with their alt on the Pass side 96 up, Its made out of 3/16" steel and is real...
well I got the PRD HX35 on Brutus, I also put in a new Delphi Radiator, AC Delco 195 thermostats and replaced every coolant hose, The Turbo is a very nice piece the first thing I noticed was when you reach in and spin it, it just keeps spinning very free and no play at all, seat of the pants...
I figured I would start a new thread, anyway this what I have come up with for the HX40II, Its pretty simple and should work with all airboxes, Just need to try it out
