I'd leave that one alone as well. I'd also be spraying the other GPs and Injectors with teh ATF and acetone mix mentioned earlier before going after them.
New to me used vehicles get new brakes, fluids, and common fail components replaced. Have heard before: Speed is optional, stopping is mandatory.
safety, long term dependability, improve capability.
Excellent, glad you're willing to do so. Give them a call and hop over the pass. Closed on Saturdays though. IIRC, it was a Ford guy who purchased a 6.5 that had the long discussion with Bill that convinced him to go ahead and bring the cam to market as there would be real interest outside of...
I think you're right around the corner, about two hours from Ellensburg. If you're that interested in character assasination, then go by and talk to the guy, take a ride in Joe's or Bill's trucks and then post up your observations.
Like every other manufacturer who will try to talk you out of a purchase you don't need? "Grip to be had on isle 5." I don't blame you for having doubts but it's getting old. He's got good rep, you've got, what, an add for ceramic coatings and you're asking people to email you for what...
Cutomer feed back probably. Heard of a guy up in PA who ran his HP-3 without the tune. Compared his quarter mile times, did the math (weight, speed, time etc) and came up with over 70 hp gained on cam alone. 635 has posted his observations and Bill hasn't gotten where he is by lying.
Would or will? :dunno: If its "Will" then by all means, go for it and post up the dyno results so there's at least a general comparison to OEM specs.
Buddy, are you running that "Oregon" cam and what profile did you choose? Any chance of a name?
One member, Red, has the HT-4 Cam kit and initially was using a DB-2 on his gasser swap and a manual tranny ("motors motors motors" thread). Perhaps he'll chime in help you with your angst once he's up and running down the road. While we're waiting, perhaps hitting re-dial and actually talking...
Check the RPO Codes in the glove box against an on line listing. I had to google it.
LMC lists only a couple of tanks; 25 and 24. Mine will take 27 to fill if bone dry empty from dropping to clean.
Bummer to have happened.
If I understand correctly, you discovered the King bearing when dissassembling the motor this summer after the sucker broke, not when you were chasing the leaking galley plugs over a year ago?
