    This thread was helpful recently, just finished this up last week on the k1500 gasser. Put in a new vent box and evaporator, compr, condensor, lines , heater core, everything. Epoxied up some cracks in the dash, so now its cracking somewhere else :rolleyes5: I guess I need to fiberglass...

    Did you install it? Did you get it to work? I bought a dorman handle for my daughters 93 and couldnt get it to work. Bought a GM handle and works great.

    Ya they dont want to lower their profit margin by buying any packing material or decent boxes. You cant order a heavy steel item along with anything thats breakable cuz they just toss them in the same box with no packing
