Never did hear a Manufacturer name.
Kennedy sells the fitting with a gauge. Don't know if he'd sell the fitting only.

I took my bypass filter adapter off last summer to replace the O-ring because of a small (dripping) leak. As you said, the O-ring was hard.
I would guess the O-ring is Buna N, (Nitrile), which is a cheap common material used for petroleums.
Nitrile is rated for an maximum operating temperature...
Man, I could never do that in 6 minutes.
Installing the NSBU AND four or five beers? WOW.
I wonder if the NSBU was really bad, or did you only have moisture in the electrical connectors.
I coat the electrical pins with dielectric grease, to help keep moisture and corrosion out. Electronics...
Welcome PC.

A couple of Guy's I'd like to see here would be Tolliwacker and haymccall.
I've always enjoyed reading their stuff and they have a lot to offer.
If mounting down by frame rail, install as long a filter that will not extend below the frame.
I use the EA026, which is longer than the OEM, and a BF100 bypass which is about the same length.
Adding these increases my oil capacity to about 11.5 qts to top of fill mark.
Don't confuse this new Mobil Delvac Synthetic ATF with the original Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF, (not that the original is no good).
The new Mobil Delvac Synthitic meets TES-295 specs.

I carry 4 2X10's, with both ends of each beveled, and different lengths, to form a ramp. One board to four boards high, as needed. I made pins out of plastic pipe, to prevent the stacked boards from sliding apart.
With the camper at site, I check self-stick camper level to determine how many...
Hope you had the trans in NEUTRAL during the install.
I coated connectors with dielectric grease to keep moisture/corrosion out, and mine's been working fine for about 5 years.
Hi Hoot, you will always be known for this fine thread, known by all as the "Hoot Method".
Here's another link with the same info and some pics, (I think they stole your method).

Are there Weight Police on this site too? :frown2:
I have Air Lift bags.
I run about 10 PSI empty, and when I load the 5ver with about 2000-2200 pin weight, this pressure compresses to about 18 PSI.
Truck rides level, and second stage springs are still engaged with first stage to minimize...
I wouldn't not get the deep pan because of a few months of winter, vs the benefits of using it during the many warmer months, especially if you tow. You are adding 2-3 qts to a 12-13 qt system, which may slow warmup slightly. IMO, the initial time to warm, if unloaded, is mostly affected by the...
