Thanks Mike, I figured I’d try it, $30 on Amazon, all aluminum and nothing to loose.

    Transmission Cooler Grill

Found one on Amazon that I liked. Installed it today, didn’t have to remove the grill and black plastic under the bumper as per instructions by making simple modifications to the brackets. Need to figure out how to post a picture...

    Transmission Cooler Grill

I have a 2018 SRW LTZ with the chrome front bumper and I have been looking for a grill of some sort to help fill in the opening for the transmission cooler in the middle of the front bumper. I would like something kind of what's on the hood scoop. Any suggestions?

    Drove a L5P today

I’m sure one of the first things I’ll do is upsize & change out the tires for a set of Toyo open country R/Ts. Mainly cause I have them on my ‘03 and like the look and the mileage I can get out of them.

    Drove a L5P today

Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been on here. Just a little catch up on why I've been gone so long. Finally retired from working overseas in West Central Africa and bought a local tire and automotive service center on July 1st. Talking about the new L5P, I like the new body style and...

    Trailer Tires

I'm running 14 ply LT's on my 5er after the original 10 ply tires started to develop bubbles in the side walls on a trip a few years ago. Make sure whatever tires you buy are rated for trailer tire service and that your rims are rated for the extra pressure required. From the factory my original...

2-2-11 - Satisfaction of site speed AFTER new server

Not too bad considering that I'm in my apartment using a wireless router on the company network in Africa that runs off of 2 satellites... not much spare bandwith to go around. Oh yeah, it's much faster when I'm at home too.

1978 Nomad Trailer Restoration/Project: 88GMCtruck is at it again.

Man you did an awesome job. I just found this thread and read all 11 pages. You did a hell of a lot of work to it and it looks great. So are you going to come to Louisiana for our next Gulf Coast camping and GTG? ROAD TRIP:D

    Waterpump out on the 01

It's not that hard to do. I did mine in about 5 hours for about $250. The biggest PIA was the "O" ring going to the top thermostat housing. I cut 2 before I got it right. From what I understand everyone is using an injector cup "O" ring which are tougher but I didn't have that option. One...

before you buy any PC parts or if you need a PC

Do you have a power supply for a HP desktop? My wifes desktop is showing that the power supply is bad. The light on the back is blinking and all trouble shooting sites say it's the power supply.

    Honda 200m Starter problems

Get a brush kit from Honda. Using the directions provided by AK, resurface the commutator and undercut as stated in fig. 6 and test the armature. Reassemble making sure it's sealed properly. They are not that hard to rebuild and I've had good luck (20-30 or so) with them lasting for years after...

    Going Draggin' Tonight

So Steve did you empty out the bed and have the aux. tank empty? Clean out some of the "stuff" you're carrying and you should drop a couple of 10ths off of your time....):h):h):h I've seen some of the stuff you haul around...:eek:

    Colorado! Engine Tempertures

I'm glad it fit. The cover came with my truck when I bought it in Nov. of '02. That's the first time I've had it out from under the back seat and unfolded.
