napa gold filters are always a bit bigger i have noticed. like gmc3500 said bigger filter more filtration. every vehicle i have ever owned only gets a napa gold or wix never trusted any other filters
best way i found to get the rotors off is a bfh and a pry bar i hold out the front edge and hit the back with a hammer the come off evenly and its a little easier but not much. as for the torx clean them out good so they so they don't strip and i usually break the bottom one loose and then flip...
those crome wheels are my favorites too. i like aluminium wheel for weight saving but the salt kills them i'm trying to find a set of aluminum wheels to powdercoat i think that would help protect them from the salt.
they are just crome covers eventually rust will get behind them and they will bubble out. its like a chrome metal skin that is attached to a steel wheel. my dads truck has them. its a 2000. they will last about 5 to6 years. after that his started to rust and bubble out. you and me know how the...
Coil spring spacers has anyone ever used them. my truck sits about a inch lower in the front it drives me nuts. i seen plastic and metal spacer no idea where one would start any input guys???
i have 2 guard dogs on my truck for winter tires and my truck gets around pretty dam well for a 2wd. i have been amazed by these tires more than once this winter. my next tires are gonna be tread wrights too
you will get mixed reviews from everyone here. i purchased a set of marine injecters years ago from ssdiesel. i never had problems with them. i ran them for 30k then sold them to a friend when i did my cummins swap. he has put another 40k on them and i recently tested them all are still at...
i have done almost a dozen sets for friends and other people. the only place you may be able to find them less expensive is ebay. i checked the web and swamps seemed to be best warranty and least expensive. if you find better ones let me konw so i can start using them also. thanks
upgrade the air intake, and exhaust. for sure. swamps diesel has some real nice injectors, even ones designed for towing. and the lockable chip is a really good idea too. 7.3 are pretty good motors sometimes the idm goes or the valve cover harnesses but other than that there ok
for the money i like hobart. yea some aruge there a cheap welder. i bought one from tractor supply a few years ago, its done everything i wanted so far. i got the biggest 110v they had its flux core or gas. i prefer gas but can switch if i run out its a nice option
its only got one bolt patteren. i got a fan for a 98 and the bolt patteren on the clutch is different. i cant find a clutch to fit the fan. its the one that came with the motor its fine but it has no blade.
