change the fuel filter again, its cheap and the only way to know for sure it is not slowing down flow, had a buddy call me with similar problem after he replaced the pmd and fuel pump I suggested replacing filter even though it only had 2500 miles on it he said it is fixed now!

10 psi per 1000rpm is a rule on gas IDK about diesels , I just figure to much and it is bypassing making more heat in oil and wasting power possibly hard on turbo seals. too

I finally got my friends truck running with the teds engine today, man that was a lot of work to swap, granted I got to only work on it a little at a time which sucks for me! It fired up quick and runs great with 60 psi @ idle, very quiet too. I will roadtest tomorrow to see how it likes...

Jasper is taking care of the cracked trans bellhousing under warranty and when I drained the transfer case the oil was full of metal so they are replacing it under warranty as well!!! They have not agreed to pay anything on motor but after this service I am impressed!!!!

I did call jasper they happened to have their sales route guy drop by to talk to my manager and I asked him about this engine and he knew all about it though I dont think he planned to bring it up during this visit!! Anyway he offered for us to send back the motor and they would reman it again...
