Paid for a pistol Springfield 1911, Winchester 44-40 rifle and weekend at the Drag Races in Vegas.
Last weekend my wife was camping and geocaching in Broadus, MT. I looked it up and Broadus is a town of 435 people. There is nothing out there. She thought about going to Wibaux and getting a pic of her and our dog Wibaux under the Welcome to Wibaux sign. Again there is literally nothing there.Back in the, about, mid 70s, I was selling on the road for a local candy, tobacco, Frito Lays distributorship.
A little town to the south east, Ekalaka Montana, a little old lady over there was telling me she bought a new car, a Volkswagen Scirocco.
I never did see the car but for being in Her latter portion of 70s she was sure having fun with that car.
Pretty nice too huh.Last weekend my wife was camping and geocaching in Broadus, MT. I looked it up and Broadus is a town of 435 people. There is nothing out there. I can see Paveltolz buying a 5 stick pack of gum every Monday at 7-11 with a $100 bill and the clerk sighs “all $5 change again sir?” Haha.Laugh it up brothers, one year of not spending $5 bills received in change.

Well today April is in Spokane shopping for granite for the kitchen in Montana. She has Wibaux with her.I can see Paveltolz buying a 5 stick pack of gum every Monday at 7-11 with a $100 bill and the clerk sighs “all $5 change again sir?” Haha.
Awesome man.
@Big T heck yeah she needs that picture, you go & take the picture of her holding her dog under the sign. Goofy trips just for the fun of it are great.
My favorite trip I remember as a kid was my dad early on a Saturday morning asks if I’m busy on anything, and when I say no he says “how about a good piece of pie?” Yup I responded so he says go hop in the jeep.
The jeep mind you was never driven above 45 mph. A 1943 Willy’s flat fender - the kind on MASH.
from our home near Nellis AFB to a restaurant now gone that was at the intersection of I93 & Main st in Panaca Nv. A trip of exactly 330 miles one way.
Best pie I ever ate. Of course thinking back- I was mighty hungry so a cricket on a campfire stick might have been good! Haha. I remember that locals would walk in and grab a wooden dowel w/ a metal hook on the end. There were coffee cups on hooks all over the place in there. They go get their own personal cup and sit down at a table. The waitress would ask if they cared to have it washed first or not- and they drank from their own personal cup - a way cool idea to have locals feel dedicated and special at a place huh?
Unfortunately that building is long empty now. I remember the owner looked old enough to be grandparent to my dad back then. I asked the waitress what if you run out of places for enough cups & she said they would hangem from the ceiling.
So go get that picture with her holding the dog & learn of good fishing spots from the locals.
Maybe someone will leave toyota parts in one of the treasure boxes?!Well today April is in Spokane shopping for granite for the kitchen in Montana. She has Wibaux with her.
Plan is for us to take off on a roaming camping trip while our flooring contractor is putting the finish on the wood flooring. Don’t want dog hair getting into the finish.
When I’m not up there in Montana with my wife, she’s roaming all over the place geocaching. It leaves me chasing maintenance on her two 4Runners.
Could use Toyota OEM upper and lower control arms complete with bushings and ball joints. Plan to replace them at 400K miles.Maybe someone will leave toyota parts in one of the treasure boxes?!![]()
