well i kinda gave up on drag racing, my truck is just to big and heavy for it. I'll go for the dedicated puller status :eyebrows: and yes i think pulling is way more fun than drag racing.
so i came out 5th or 6th overall in the points this year at the Buck, i don't think thats all that bad for my first year of pullin. now i just gotta get Pete down there next year ;) if anybody wants i have alot of vids posted up on my youtube. YouTube - tobyk321's Channel
OK this might sound crazy but do you have a CB radio, when i put mine in i got some feedback from the alternator. sounded just like a power steering pump going bad.

if they let me keep my first two pulls i would have done really well. they made me throw the first two out cause they where having trouble getting the sled setup right. on my third pull i tried a different line and my front end spun out, ended up getting 8th. looks like its time for a front diff...

i just started to make the switch from drag racing to pulling. gotta say pulling is way more fun than racing. off topic does anybody know of any eastern PA sled pulls?
i helped a friend of mine install a single disk south bend feramic (i think thats how you spell it). so far he loves it. its supposed to hold 550hp. it was a very complete kit and very good instructions. took us about 5 hrs taking our time. hope this helps
not sure about low fluid being the problem. mine blew up from trying to lock in under a heavy load, one of the pins that hold the spider gears in place worked its way out and starting whacking the pinion gear every time it came around :eek:
