Good work. I knew when I saw your videos of the acceleration that you'd take the new record. My truck hasn't run in 4 years, lots changed in my life so everything has been in storage.
Those are some awesome numbers.
That bracket and pulley is off a non-ac 92-95 setup, specific bracket. I have one and noticed what you noticed in that it looks like a vacuum pump drive without the vacuum pump pod on it. I would think you'd be able to use the vacuum pump in place and remove the pod. You'd have to find a freeze...
I know when I do another mechanical 6.5 engine and want dual stats I'd take the shortcut and get one of Kennedy's modified outlets and brackets for the MFI engine.
The stock valve sizes for all later 6.2 and 6.5 NA and Turbo engines (including P400) is 1.810" Intake 1.535" Exhaust.
We've also flowed a set of 82 6.2 heads equipped with the 1.653" Exhaust valve, with good results.
I'm done with the rollers for the most part. It will be results based on CFM to Lift values and percentages compared to OE.
Gains are subjective to bolt-on hardware.
Engine Dyno results would be great from stock head to modified, but this won't happen until I get my own engine dyno in house...
Used castings are risk. I don't even mess with used heads for builds because about 75% of them are cracked, all the builds end up with new heads (which really increases the cost of the build) but it is what it is.
I think a customer would send me some heads they think are crack free, only to...
These gains are strong gains over the stock castings. Seeing this work that Chris is doing on his grinding is absolutely impressive!
His grinding and machining methods are consistent. There was one cylinder where an experiment was made on the grind to see if the grinding would help or hurt...
ECM Flashes.
I can do 1996+ ECM Flashes to stock calibration for situations like this or replacements.
They all require the VIN, which get's programmed into the ECM. With the VIN I get the correct original calibration for the vehicle for it's options.
1998+ have to do the Passlock Security...
This is the correct manifold for your application. Bolt on and go:

You can buy it on this page:

It will be the 2nd one down. I have several in stock right now.

You're saying that with the heads you've worked with that the intake valve is opening prematurely and conflicting with the piston during the intake stroke. I see two possible contributors. If cam timing is correct (controlled by the timing chain set) that the minimal recession of the intake...
Thank you! You just made my case! What in the world is wrong with something that lasts for 200k miles.
Nothing's perfect, the TTY bolts do fail, sure. I've seen soft ones made that wouldn't hold torque new. Stuff happens in the production word.
Just saying that a person doing head gaskets will...
