I was wondering if I could pull a goose neck trailer with my truck (of course I know that the Duramax can handle it). I have a 07 Chevy 2500HD Crewcab 4x4 with a 6" lift and running 35x12.50x18E tires on it. I was told one time that some of the goose necks have adjustments on the neck for taller...
I'm wanting to change out the torque converter in my truck and I'm stumped on which converter to go with. I am going to go with a Suncoast, but I can't decide whether to go with a 1056 or a 1057.
For know, I'm running a Bully Dog Triple Dog (going to change to a Predator soon) in performance...
Thank ya'll for all your opinions, but I think I have talked myself out of getting stacks, at least for now. I got my eye set on a new Suncoast TC now. :eyebrows:
Here lately I have been considering put smoke stacks on my truck, the only thing that keeps me from going ahead and doing it is drilling a 6" hole in my bed, but they look so damn cool. Do ya'll have any opinions on stacks?
One helpful thing that I did was I took two big trash bags and spread them out on the workbench, that way when you take the valve body apart you won't get transmission fluid all over your bench. I say this because when I cracked mine open transmission fluid went everywhere.
Everything is good now, I wound up getting it done though a dealer, since it was still under warrenty. I guess the next one will be up to me to fix, it will get fix a whole lot faster if I do anyway instead of having to take a day off work and leaving my truck with the dealer for an entire day.
