From my experience, most engines that use torque to yield bolt can be used twice. After that you won't get the stretch needed and the bolt usually bottoms out in the hole. I did the head on my turbo daytona and reused those and they were TtY bolts.
I'm not telling you to re-use them, just a...
This is exactly what I was thinking earlier, I didn't want to say anything and start a shitstorm:rolleyes5: From the pictures it looks like it could just be cleaned up and put back together to hold him over until he gets the time to take care of it the proper way.
I would really like to do a 4-link, I however only have a flux-wire welder and on top of that I am still learning on. I want the truck to ride good but still be able to haul a load from time to time.
Was thinking about how to get a smoother ride out of the truck and came up with this. I think it would work. It's a crude drawing but I'm sure you get the idea. I know there are other stuff out there like salastic, timbrens, etc, I'm just trying to think outside the box. What do you guys think?
Not needed on his dyno. Nothing is hooked up to your vehicle. I thought it was wierd too, but it works. He hooked nothing to my car except tie down straps. He told me he could tune my truck too. But I would rather leave that to the people who deal with the 6.5 everyday.
If I get one of these...
I dont think either here are load bearing, here is a vid of my old camaro on the one in MB, I'm the retard with that laptop doing some tuning.

When I modified my exhaust I made it too tight on the hangers and it would do the same thing. It would do it for a few seconds and then stop then again, an so on. Eventually the hangers stretched(I guess) and it doesn't do it anymore.
Your S-10 is awesome!!! I don't think you even need paint on that truck IMHO. I would love to solid axle my truck. Need to get some funds together first. I want to go D60 front with 7" total lift on 36's.
This is my guess, burnt TCC, that has caused damage to the 3-4 clutch pack. I would say there is a rebuild in your future and your buddy needs to help out with that. Since he couldn't comprehend simple instructions that even my wife would understand, no seriously, I had the TCC mod on my 93 TA...
Thanks, I'm trying to get a collection of as many 6.5's as I can. That way, anyone looking to modify their truck can look here and get ideas from what other people have done. ie paint schemes, lighting, wheels/tires, etc.
sorry 'bout the tailgate, I was at the park with the dogs, if you look...
