18 hours later, and the 5 day forecast now has Irma turning and going up the middle of Florida.

my wife and i just had a very humbling moment tonight. the neighbors came over and gave us 1000.00 worth of gift cards. couldn't believe it and we can't stop talking about it. i haven't felt blessed in such a long time but i sure do tonight
That was very nice.
On a side note I was able to donate $400 so far to hurricane relief. It went to the JJ Watt fund.

Actually Im not a big Football fan, but can respect his effort to help others. It will come back to him 10x.
And our mayor did a great job IMO, but he is a Democrat do he just can't help himself now, guess what he wants to do now! yep raise property taxes to help garbage removal! So he is back to his old ways already and once they go up they won't come back down even though its supposed to be a "temporary" tax.

The Hurricane was terrible for so many, I was lucky to have not had flooding here. Waters were only one street away on ether side of me. Had it kept raining we would of got it too.
People really come together in times like those.
