How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

I'm curious what would have caused the pump to go out so soon. the trans in my truck (4l80e) was rebuilt back in 2018 when the PO still had it but doesn't have many miles on it. shifts hard from first to second like the line pressure is running full pressure all the time. wondering if that can cause a premature pump failure. I too have an aftermarket controller for the trans.

In the attatched link, there will be photos of the underside of the K5, along with photos of the transmission (yes, including the interior)

Let me know what you guys think, it even gives (unintentionally ofc) an inside look into the ATS Turbo undercarriage crossover pipe.

It shows the back of the engine block aswell.

Wonder why they didn’t mark anything in the report other than “nc- not checked”.
Looking on my phone, I see it all torn apart but i cant zoom in well enough to see what conditions really are. I see the debris on filter and the tiny knick on one clutch edge that is so small it wouldn’t have had effect.

Is there a spot in there to click where he has the write up of what the determination was?
 
Was this transmission done by Ammco or Quadstar? on the first photo there is a large Quadstar sticker over the top of the case. reason I ask is because if Quadstar is willing to work with you on warranty and Ammco just tore it down for inspection, that alone may have very well voided any warranty you had.
