How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

This is gonna sound really dumb, but how did you guys figure out how often to change your oil? Im close to the 3K mile threshold since my last oil change.

Ita a daily driver, has a turbo, nyc stop and go traffic, with Long Island highway traffic aswell, max speeds of 60MPH

Rotella T6 15w40 currently used

Oil change interval is a trade off- save money& time on oil change vs longer engine life.
Buy a Frantz bypass filter & add to truck. Worth the cost. Then you can have oil tested by places like Blackstone Labs. Stay with 3,000 mile until they tell you it can be extended.

Squeak- either brakes or wheel bearing.
Jack truck up, set jack stand under frame and spin wheel. Also put rock wheel 12:00-6:00; then 3:00-9:00 directions checking for freeplay.
If you can cause the sound when spinning and no freeplay is detected, remove wheel and spin hub watching brakes for the cause.

I went under (chalked the wheels) and checked for any play, ill send the footage now

Checked the front and rear driveshaft aswell.

Honestly it did sound like a u-joint squeak. the only way to tell other than it returning and you pinpointing it at that time is to pull the driveshaft and feel and look at the joint. I wouldn't worry about it until it comes back. could have easily been brake dust in the drum which is normal, there is no where for the dust to go.

Part of me hopes thats it, i drove it around for errands and still no play or noise, even when drivng there's no vibrations or anything.

I feel like im loosing my mind, add to that, my friends father who's a mechanic hinself.saw how the rear jolted a bit going from Drive to Reverse, which lowkey freaked him out (peep the link, its there)

I saw that in your video. it did look like the pinion seal area was kinda wet and from the video it did look like there was a bit of rotational play with the pinion gear meshing with the ring gear. that doesn't mean it's bad though. Just means it's been broken in.

if the squeak comes back, put the rear end up on stands and have someone put it into gear and release the brake while you listen. you'll know right away if it's in one of the wheels or coming from underneath. my vote will be the rear u-joint that might be getting dry if not coming from the wheel.
