How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

you can use the JB weld but don't use the quick stuff, the slow curing one will hold better. Pinching the hole will only make it crack where the pin hole is making it worse plus harder for a radiator shop to do the repair when you have no other choice.

adding anything into the system to stop the leak will risk clogging up the heater core or hurting other things. this is a side of the road fix to get you home kinda thing.

best thing is to find exactly where it's leaking and get it repaired properly. if you have experience braising aluminum or know someone that can, that is the best thing next to having a radiator shop do it for you.

Wire brush and sand it ti shiny clean. Solder flux and solder and tin it up real good. Then the solder will bond as long as there is no grease or oil on the tube.
A soldering gun can doooh dat.
And if you use a bernzomatic torch to solder the leak, wet rags to keep the heat from spreading to other areas and loosening solder that dont need loosed.

A non 6.2 question here yall.

Ive come across Suburban bucket seats for a low price, im wondering if its possible to swap them into a K5 Blazer?

We're both 1990 Trucks (or his is 89), both bucket seats (mine is the photo of them with the seat cover)

Would it be possible to swap them? Is it a bolt in? (Attatched are photos of my mounting brackets) perhaps someone here with experience or a Suburban from this era can chime in

I believe they will fit. you may need to swap the seat tracks from your seats to the new ones. I believe 89 and 90 used the same ones, just options for with and without built in arm rests. @Big T has a 94 burb, he might know more about them and what it will take

Is it difficult to do that? I searched up Suburban seat brackets online and they look wildly different than the K5 ones

iirc there should be 4 bolts on the bottom of the seat frame, two per slide. can you post any pics of the base and brackets on the burb that's donating them?

Now compare to the bottom side of your seats where the brackets bolt up to the seat frame. the slide tracks are different but the seats should be mostly the same.
