you can use the JB weld but don't use the quick stuff, the slow curing one will hold better. Pinching the hole will only make it crack where the pin hole is making it worse plus harder for a radiator shop to do the repair when you have no other choice.

adding anything into the system to stop the leak will risk clogging up the heater core or hurting other things. this is a side of the road fix to get you home kinda thing.

best thing is to find exactly where it's leaking and get it repaired properly. if you have experience braising aluminum or know someone that can, that is the best thing next to having a radiator shop do it for you.

Wire brush and sand it ti shiny clean. Solder flux and solder and tin it up real good. Then the solder will bond as long as there is no grease or oil on the tube.
A soldering gun can doooh dat.

Solder is the best.
Jb weld is 2nd option.

Things like pepper or raw eggs work but are a “get you home” solution.
