It smoothed out immensely after a few minutes.

It currently runs and idles well,probably a tad smoother than prior to me swapping out injectors, though nothing crazy different.

It still smokes alot during a cold start, which Im starting to atribute to the timing being out of wack, cold advance solenoid not working properly, or, the glow plugs not firing up as they should.

It gets down to -20°F where im at, I need to winterize this vehicle, as my impala has begun to sound horrible (https://photos.app.goo.gl/JrGpXXKBR7WveuLX7)

What do you all think? Ill get the timing done at a Diesel shop, but thoughts on the other factors that I have listed?

That is smoother? That thing is shaking a LOT. That is a rough idle.

Does it idle smoother after being warmed up?

Positive no air through ip?

Yes get the timing adjusted. The timing adapters are getting more expensive. But read this post if you want to get the tools yourself. You need this adapter piece and an old school timing light. On amazon they are $230 now.

For the db2 a simple gasser timing light and one of these is all thats needed

There are many manufacturers of these i just grabbed a random one of ebay.
The picture is of my Mac Tools branded one. ET18DPM is the part number. You clamp the sparkplug pickup clamp on the red loop of the tool. Clean the outside of the injector line and clamp on the ground clamp and pickup clamp.shoot light at timing gauge just like a gas engine. A local guy bought a $50 Taiwan unit 5-6 years ago and still uses it working in a diesel shop. Still works fine, that one sells for $75 last i saw. Really not the best for ds4 obviously but it will tell you your timing by the injection event to as accurate as you can see the balancer mark. So within 1 degree is not bad...View attachment 61496

Makes me wonder about valve stem seals.
Oil soaking the cylinders due to bad seals on the valve stems.

Well it RIDES smoother, its always shaky on start up

Smokes way more than it used to, after the first few minutes it does clear up though, and when I drive it it does not smoke at all

EDIT: Ignore my co worker stating how its gonna blow up.
