Burning Main Fuses

Is this the fuse you are having problems with?

No.
It is the far back fuse at the back of the fuse/relay box.
It is between that fuse at the arrow and the relay. There are two 30 amp fuses back to back.
I am pointing the IR thermometer at it but the thermometer is blocking the view if it.

I am out away from home until at least this evening, possibly until Sunday or Monday late.
When I get back home I’ll get a picture of the fuse and post it.
The back of the motor is getting so warm that if I held my hand against it for maybe a minute or two, could possibly get a first degree burn from that.
In the whats happening thread I will post a couple of pics of the job I am on.
And I do apologize as I had missed this post from @Glagulator

The wire issue that was mentioned isn't the plug on the motor back a foot or so there should be another.
I had to do to a job at Roberts Montana, when I get back home I will check for that second plug.

I’m not ignoring the forum, or this thread, when I get finished at the end of the day, cant keep my eyes open long enough to reply to any posts.
I am camping on the job.

According to the fuse/relay label, there is a 50 amp fuse in that line that is suppose to feed the fan motor on high switch position. Its purpose is to by pass the fan resistor modes.
I will be discovering more about that fuse and circuit after I get to going today.
I did not know about that fuse until it was pointed out to me by the only mechanic in town that I trust.
And so, the fan will go back into the hole, after I check @ak diesel driver other fan plug that He mentioned.
And so, good morning and good night.

I pulled the blower motor plug and unwound it out of another harness.
Felt along the two wires taped together, that two wire harness goes into another larger harness and the only other plug I can see in the system it the plug that feeds out of the resistor tray.
No other plugs in that harness and the wires and plugs looks totally healthy.
In the picture.
The two far back green 30 amp fuses. The rear most fuse is the one that gets hot then burns out. The fuse closest to those two main terminal wires held down with nuts.

In the left side row of fuses, from the back, count six fuses forwards.
That red 50 amp fuse is the one marked blower.
I’ll install the blower motor, run it on high and see what temperature reading I get on that fuse.

Blower motor switch on high.
Fuse temp running 145*F.
Blower motor bearing housing running on 120*F. That does not seem too hot but I think its a false reading. Can not hold hand on end frame for very long. Gets mighty uncomfortable.
Running blower motor switch just above the low mark.
Cooled off the fuse, temp after about fifteen minutes is 113*F.
Blower motor bearing housing at 114*F.
But still the motor bearing end housing mighty hot to the touch.
I think its time to fire a round from the parts cannon and get a new blower motor on the way.
