2014 Honda CR-V using oil

Have you changed the PCV valve? They are notorious for getting clogged, which then results in oil leaks. Cheap part at $11 and east to install. Seen recommendations to change it every 50K miles.
Yep. That's the first thing we did. I haven't been paying attention to it.
My wife's added oil a few times. Just changed the oil 2 days ago and did the drop and fill on the transmission.

We would have traded it by now, but nobody wants to shop.
We'll be sad if it pukes on us before we get our moneys worth out of it.

I'd rather have an older more dependable, low mileage vehicle. Not interested in all the bells and whistles of the newer vehicles.
And the new vehicles are pretty much run until the warranty is about up and trade again.
I'm more used to running vehicles at least 200,000 miles.
Keeps the price per mile low.

The good thing is, we aren't going to Indianapolis every month anymore. I wasn't holding up to the long days and my wife wouldn't spend the night. Most of the miles come from the wife going to her exercise class every morning. Only about 16 miles, round trip.

Since we had a plan from the specialist, we found a local Dr to go to. And go to St Louis once or twice a year. Or as needed.
