Thanks for the replies, I have been using OEM for air and tranny up till now. I use Amsoil for the oil and oil filter. I am switching to Amsoil in the tranny and it looks like I will stay with the Ally filter. Fuel filter I'm sttill undecided.

I'm finding a bunch of different name brands for fuel, tranny and air filters. My question is this : Should I avoid a certain brand or are they all equal?

The stock Firestones sucked for traction but I put 75k on them. I now have 285/75r16 BFG TA KO's with almost 25k on them and I love them, they are wearing well, have little road noise and the traction is great. 1-10 I rate them 8.

I put BFG T/A KO 285 75 16 on last year and now that I have driven in some real blizzards and nasty ass NY weather I would give them a BIG thumbs up. I have almost 25K on them and they are wearing well, little road noise, worked well with the 5th wheel. I love these tires and I will be buying...

GM does not recommend a plow due to the diesel package being so heavy already. I was able to talk my dealer into letting me put a plow on but I decided against it in the end.
