I bought this truck for my company a year ago. I have put alot of work into the engine and a fair amount into the body. I did a full replacement panel on the pass side ext cab lower section and will be doing the same to the drivers side. I still need to replace the rockers on each side. But All...

The purple/white wire also goes to crank just...
It shows on the first diagram what the purple/white wire go too. It says "Hot in Crank" or something like that. Its towards the top on the leftish side.
I just posted the GP system as well though and the GP controller gets that same purple/white wire, #806
Im reposting the same truck but half of it is a different color.
I just finished painting the bed, once the paint cures, it will get all lettered up with my company info. I am also waiting on some fender flares for the front that will be painted that same brown color as the bed.
Yeah I am not a fan of butt connectors at all. I will probably redo all the wires with solder and heat shrink. I wll say though, the connector that attaches to the trans was all taped up and the wires were dry and clean. the only reason for the dirst was the left over residue and the dirt from...
I figured out what im going to do.
I ordered a new tank that comes with the cap,LOL.
The current tank has old oil residue on it from when the engine blew before I owned it anwyway so its probably the best idea anyway.
Well I bought a stat today, ill toss it in tomorrow. No point in testing since ill just throw the new one in.
And your right TD, chances are, there isnt a stat even in there. Well see! LOL
On rockauto, it only came up with 3 caps for my truck and the first 2 are the same as what I bought and the last one is the same size. The problem is, the opening on the tank is larger than the caps that are recommended. Ill have to get some measurements and pics today.
stuck open huh? It does sound like that, I agree. Is there any benifit to leaving it open? I know its easy to replace but if I dont have too, id rather not, LOL.
Thats where I started looking first but its not in there. Just the tube and that is it.
Ok then I had the right one. I already did replace it. I guess Ill just bypass it, I didnt want too but im sure its a wiring issue and one that I really o not want to track down.
My overflow tank didnt have a cap on it when I bought it last year. I tried buying one 2 times but didnt get the right one. I ended up just leaving it off.
Id like to get the cap if I could. Anyone have any pics of the stock cap or have any part #s for one? I dont want to got to the dealer to...
Wanted to make this a seperate thread for easy finding later on.
My low coolant light is on. I see many have just bypassed the sensor. If its an easy enough fix, I would rather just make it work.
I thought I replaced what was the low coolant level sensor but the light is still on. Its was a...
