EGR can cause those issues as well, never thought about that. Did he ever get this fixed?

Could be injectors, might be in constant regen and stalling out when he tries to throttle up.

They are nice trucks. Fun to drive.

I have noticed that my job 3 truck will never regen at idle, seems to only do it when I am driving which is a good thing for me as I hate to go off and leave it running.

Yes this is my second one.. The first one had 17K miles on it. So far the new one has about 1300 as of today on it.. Don't drive it much as of now because between the wife and I we have 3 other cars... So really it just gets driven on the weekends..

Well I actually traded the Job 1 truck in on a newer Job 3 truck.. They gave me what I wanted for my old one so I was very happy. Still loving the truck and it is getting better every time I drive it... No complaints at all..

Are the fuse boxes under the hood not the same?

He is correct.. SCT has a tuner, there is a company in Baytown that has a KEM/Spartan tuner and Bully dog and Edge have theirs.. Only 2 out there that remove the DPF and regen though..

My final thoughts on the GPS... It was awesome. Directions were immaculant, gave me the option to avoid traffic delays, re-calculated if I changed routes very quickly, within 4-7 secs, took my from Cheyenne Wyoming to my front door step with no issues at all. Calculated total miles, time...

So far it is working awesome. Re-routes very quickly if I change directions to get me new directions..

So far from using it just in town it is awesome.. I will be putting it to the test this weekend as I will be making a 1200 mile trip so I will be able to post results after that...
