I've always wished when I was crawling around the ranch and the truck is bouncing about in 4WD low that I could set the cruise control so my bouncing foot wasn't wildly varying input to the APP.
Is this it possible to modify the system so it can be set at speeds below 25 mph?
I had one of those in a '72 Mach1. It was punishing.
I'll post some pictures. I didn't use any duct tape but but it looks very hillbilly. The antenna is held in the horizontal groove in the lower dash with silicone.
The factory radio died about 4 years ago I guess. I replaced it with a "reconditioned" unit which is to say it was conditioned to croak as well.
Rather than buy another - new or otherwise - I purchased a 27 dollar Chinese four speaker 50 amp fm radio that has a usb port in the front. I...
I have the same variance in cycles and am running a Heath chip as well. Running 60Gs, it can glow all it wants. I can't imagine how this would be detrimental unless you were using it as a get-away car.
I pulled the tractor (700 at the hitch and close to 7000 for the loaded trailer) to the ranch for the first time and it did well. The transmission wanted to downshift on hills when I was doing 65 mph (3.42 gears) - the speed I normally maintain for fuel mileage when I'm on four lane 70 mph...
I have a leak somewhere between the lift pump and fuel filter but I can't see it. I can't see fuel in the galley but underneath I can see fuel dripping down the left side where the engine meets the tranny. Any ideas? Can someone tell me where it routes.
Since I had half my neck fused, I've lost maybe half my range of motion and there are some things I can't do. I took the truck to the dealership to take care of a leak. Previously, I could leave the lift pump on while it was parked overnight and it wouldn't leak but recently it began to leak...
I've been busy bringing the 94 1/2 ton up to speed for towing...injectors, a Heath towing chip, 4" straight pipe and a refreshed front end.
I took delivery of a John Deere 3720 along with a tree shear, a grapple, and an MX5 mower. I drove the tractor the 3 miles from the dealership to the...
21 mpg on this tank with mostly 65mph highway driving. Stunning. The only thing I don't like is that with a light APP application it doesn't like to make the final shift at 48. It whines a touch. The easy answer is to just not accelerate so mildly. Also, I make a point of using the app to...
I continue to be surprised at how easy it starts...no smoke or disorganization/stumble since the injectors went in. Sure runs smoother too. I'm glad I finally got the originals out before I started towing.
Here's a work in progress shot with the Medusa wiring harness and the rear end mocked up.
The red one is the bike I brought back from Washington state mentioned on a previous thread...something like 4000 miles in 5 days.
I've been away so long that I've been reading through my old threads and found this. I got the '68 CT 90 I brought home running and learned a lot about the bike...so much so that I've acquired four '68 CT90s - one of which has had an ATC 125m engine transplanted into it and will receive an...
Since I chipped the truck, I wanted to get rid of the potentiometers.
The MAP was easy; the Baro not so much. Does anyone know the what the three wires going into the Baro do? I'm presuming one is input, one is output and the other ground but the way I have it wired to the potentiometers it...
