Mine is kinda the same WarWagon. Mine is about 40 cold idle, 35 cruise and hot idle, but is 2 ticks above red when at a stoplight. I've got a AC Delco OPS I'm going to be putting on to see if it helps and, I have the el-cheapo brand on there now. it always seems to help to run a quart of Lucas...
I'm not sure guys, I think it was mostly because I had to keep on the throttle more to keep it at speed. You have to remember I have an extra 2500-3000lbs in the bed at all times and it was kind of a challenge at times just to cruise around at 55-60 without keeping my foot on the go pedal
I did my research guys  I pulled the pulley off the old one and swapped it out on the new one as soon as I pulled it out of the box. It's been on there for almost a year also, so I'm used to seeing the RPMs even if they were the wrong ones.
Buddy did change the shift points, but I've had the tune now for 4 months.
Leroy, I'm working on getting some pictures, but it seems everytime I try to upload I never can get them too. It was not a problem with some delayed shipping after me messing up with the oil cooler lines :mad2: (...
AK, I mean that at 55 before I was at 2400 RPM now I'm at 2000.
Slim I'm running a buddys 3 banger right now. It has plenty of fuel, cause I can black cloud a 4 lane intersection and get to 20lbs of boost without hesitation.
Big T, I've had the truck since it was bone stock. I went to a...
Well guys, my truck has been in total parts for about a month now. I finally got around to putting it all back together tonight, I busted her off and let it warm up some and took it for a spin. I will have to say the first thing I noticed was the exhaust tone. This thing is LOUD!! It sounds just...
I agree AK, I bought a BRAND NEW 09 F-350 (yea I know, first mistake) in 2010. I got a great deal on it, it was a King Ranch crew cab 4x4 dually with a 6.4 I only put 30,000 on it and made Ford buy it back. It was literally in the shop more then it was on the road. So it's a toss up on how...
Well they old man I bought it from said it had a leak on that side and he told me he replaced the studs with bolts and impacted them in. I asked if he had changed the donut gasket and he had no clue what I was talking about :rolleyes5:
Ok guys, I was changing out my rotted out crossover for a new one and I broke all three manifold studs on the drivers side :mad2: Anybody have a good way of getting the old one out? I'm not sure if and easy out will work, maybe just grit my teeth and start drilling them out and re-tapping them?
I'm not sure where I heard that it helped with the spooling, but I'm not going to wrap it if it helps with rotting. I live in Oklahoma now, but I spent ALL last year in Ohio and West By God Virginia in the salt belt. I spent a lot getting all the exhaust stainless, and don't want to hold the...
Ok guys, I've been compiling a bunch of parts for my truck and they all showed up today  I've got a new down pipe and crossover with an ATT and was curious if you guys would heat wrap the DP and crossover before the install? I think I read somewhere that the heat wrap helps spools the...
