ATT for christmas

Mine was a c2500, 3.73s. I believe Leo's is a K3500, not sure about gears.

He's heavier than me.

And faster, damn it. :mad2:
 
4.10's it is, the first hundred yards or so were on a curve, that may slow it down a touch.

Jim, didn't you mention your speedo was reading a bit low one time?
 
I have to do a Mea Culpa. I have more turbo whistle now that my crossover pipe was changed. I must have had some leaking and loss of boost. It doesn't whistle like my old GM turbo but it's a big difference from my stock, old crossover. Matt and any of you guys from Mass., I had a local guy ( Jason Guy "The Repair Guy") from Wilmington, put the new stainless crossover in, replaced all the studs and nuts (I supplied the exhaust parts) and fixed the two passenger side doors that wouldn't open from the inside any more. $60 in door parts from the mechanic and $230 bill total. I'm happy considering the miserable crossover stories.
 
Sounds like Jason is a good hand... crossovers can be a PITA without a hot wrench. Glad you're all fixed up!

Grabbed this one other day not the best video me towing my 4 wheeler 1500# with trailer new to me camera didn't set the date 12-27-09 not Jan 05, also trying to drive and grab video and drive not recomended either :mad2:

Notice lack of lag some are fearful the ATT may have; no lag 0-70 Mph all videos from fully stopped and no pre-staged turbo just mashing the right foot from stop

gonna be next week before we'll get it back in i'm waiting on arp moly lube to get here from summit. So i'm thinkin next friday saturday we'll get her goin i'm gettin pretty anxious.

Nice Videos, Tim! That thing sounds (and goes) like a 6.5TD should! :thumbsup:
 
That does sound good, wouldnt get anything like that with the GMx, even straight piped. I'm actually trying to get rid of some of that cabin noise, because mine comes through even just cruising 50 to 70mph.

Thanks for the kudos, it does okay & considering I was hooked to a trailer you can see it has pretty good grunt even doen on the bottom end just taking off.

I've got some other things in works to try on this, (secret & not secret) :D I'm in need of a new set of injectors, these have about 120K on them, install the WMI, and build my cold air intake system with the larger Donnelson/Amsoil air filter

Don't hear a thing with the new radio I just installed :D, as for turbo whistle it's there if you are outside the truck, my son drives my ATT equipped burb to school once in a while, and I can hear the turbo whistle, but for me it's the roar of power as heard inside the truck/video that puts a grin on my face.

My Son & I Tuesday were driving to Lowes, a guy in middle of the road back turned and walking away did a quick head turn almost snapped his neck when whipping around to see what that was bearing down on him when I kicked it in the throttle a little so it would rumble some. :D

Sounds even more better in a tunnel, or when going past those temporary concrete road dividers they put up in construction zones.

Next time I do a vid I won't be running West into the setting sun, pulling a trailer, and I'll have somebody running the camera. This particular day I just happened to have camera/vid handy I was up at my camp thaty had been underwater for 10 days :mad2: when they opend up dam above me my cabin/camp got flooded out :sad: hunting there curtailed until it dries out, and I can remove the plywood walls and insulation so I can bleach & treat it for mold.

0-15+ max boost it shows is 15 if I stayed into the throttle I'd be 115+ mph, 121 is fastest I've ever taken it; it gets boo-scary that speed with non speed rated tires and other drivers to avoid on highway, staying into the throttle with 10-11 boost puts me at about 100 mph
