Upgrading To A Larger CS144 Alternator.

If you use AD244, you will not need that turnbuckle.
Just the stock bracket cut on the far bolt and still use the Alt bottom bolt.
The alternator is thinner and easier to hold since it is the same thickness as the CS130/CS130D alternator.

Yes. I just replace the side bracket with a Metal Mender from Home Depot.
The rear is the same just shave off the 3 o'clock bolt holes because that is the location of the alt cable connector from battery.

I have a picture here somewhere except I cannot even find my picture collection anymore since the forum upgrade.
