Thermal Dispersant on an AC condenser - for the Dodge.

I did finally obtain a proper thermometer to measure the AC vent temp. My IR gun was giving me wild 27 degree readings.

I guess Dodge AC systems aren't known for being cold. Around 102F and 20% humidity out and I have a solid 37 Degrees F out the vents with the blower on high going down the road at 35MPH+. (It takes a bit to cool down the cab from heat soak before it can do this.) Any colder and the clutch cycles off to prevent the evaporator from icing up. Getting 40 degrees at idle.

My sons 01 dodge 1500 with a 5.7 gasser in it. VERY accurately charged at 100 degrees and 21% humidity got down to 43 degrees. And yes, i am aware of all the hangups of dodge a/c from that era.

dodge is the only truck that has as poor a/c as pre 07.5 hummers.
