On the timbren kit, installation is easy, and there is NO drilling needed. There are already two holes in the plate where the original bumpstop is, but the bumpstop actually only uses one. So you need to take the stop off, and it comes with two bolts to bolt the heavy piece of metal in there, then the rubber just bolts right to it and sits above the "knub" on the lower a arm. There is about 1 inch of clearence right now between the bottom of the stop and the a-arm. The kit cost me 200 dollars for the front kit, and the guy added in a 1.5 inch rear block for free which i didnt use. I ended up buying a set of add a leaves for the rear, so when i lifted my truck (was saggin horribly low due to the plow and 15 years) i lifted it 1 or so inches. I love the way it sits now, not to high and i can run 285's easy. We will find out how they ride when she is back in motion. On the shassis i actually scraped and chisled it. So the loose rust is off. ANd i sprayed it with 1 coat of eastwood extreme chassis black, that im not very hapy with, takes over 24 hours to dry... I was going to buy a sandblzaster and do a lot of stuff with it, but due to the enormouns amount of money i put into the front end parts i am rapidly running out of cash. I am in the 2,500 dollar project range right now.....
