Yeah, the price. I just purchased aluminized from Quadstar for $409. Did not include the muffler, but I have one in good shape.

I bought the same exhaust in stainless, Different seller.

I bought a flex and a ball and socket joint to install at the downpipe.

I might have posted about what I bought.
I wonder how long it's been now.

What's available for a 4" stainless exhaust these days?

What's available for a 4" stainless exhaust these days? I thought I saw one recently, but can't find anything now. Might have been wishful dreaming.

My sxhaust is still sitting here waiting for me.

I wouldn't buy aluminized in the rust belt.

I've had aluminized crap not last very many years. It's not worth doing twice.

I'm having enough trouble getting it done once.

Mine doesn't see salt so I'm not as concerned but also understand your sentiments. The Banks Stinger exhaust I put on in '03 is without issue except where the flange connector has deteriorated over time. I almost bought the SS Diamond Eye when I was about finished with the engine installation but didn't want to drop another $700 at the time. I think they stopped offering their stainless kit.

Out in the west we generally do not see salt. I installed the original 4” exhaust back when I bought the Suburban back in January 2010. Right now, only the tail section from the muffler back has rot. The section from the muffler forward are fine. Wish I could just buy the tail section. But this purchased will serve it for the rest of its life.
