my truck just threw a p206 open circuit injector #6,i think i reasd somewhere before about wiring harness issues but i cant find the article can anyone confirm this thanks mike

The harness issue was for LLY's(04-05), there are no harness issues with the LBZ I know of.

You need to check the wiring to the injector, if it looks good then you need to check the resistance on the #6 injector and see if it is within spec. Also remember, #6 is the 2nd from the back on the drivers side.

For a P0206, I would be checking the harness and injector resistance before I even thought of doing injectors. If you do find a bad injector coil, then I would only change the one out. But diagnose it before you go throwing an injector in it.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but couldn't you just swap injector #4 and #6. Clear the code. Then if you get another p206 it is in the wiring, A p204 would then indicate the injector is the problem.

Thats one way of doing it, and yes this would show the problem.
