He was close to 700HP with twins and n20 iirc.I think I remember someone loosing a rod using twins when the 2.8 first come out... but I don't recall who.
These engines have been around for over a decade now. Remember the diesel JEEP LIBERTY, same engine, just an earlier version of it. They've been used extensively overseas by several brands in all kinds of uses including marine.Good question Mike. These haven't been out long enough for any long term real life durability tests.
But I read or heard that they say they can get more from the setup, but that was the safe numbers for the application.
Interestingly, the company has AM Rods also. Lol
