Yeah thats a fun one. Pretty sure I posted that back about three years ago when I was thinking of marketing lower cost air flow valves to stop the runaway.

Why do they not have PAS Systems on these trucks? And pulling rigs too. You’d think they would with the amount of runaways you see on YouTube.
It’s required on everything out here in oilfield country.

Iirc this truck did have an air shutoff, but it was before the 1st turbo, and the intake line between the turbos let loose, so it did no good. I know some have wanted to mandate shutoffs after the turbo for situations like this, but it happens so rarely, they haven't pushed it.
