I'll be able to get some good pricing if I buy 5 or more units. For the purpose of this group buy (GB) all prices are for the 91-2000 GMT 400 trucks with 2WD or 4X4.
As some of you know Gear Vendors keeps a tight control on their product and prices also. This GB is the only way you might own a new one at a good discount.

If anyone backs out and numbers drop below 5 I will cancel the GB and refund your money. Any more than 5 and the price keeps getting lower too! So if we get more than 5 check back for your new price. I will prorate my discount over however many confirmed buyers we have at the end. As you see in the links the retail price is $3095 you won't pay that.

I can also apply this GB to any Gear vendors unit they offer. I can say if you get in on this GB you probably won't get close to the same price as Im selling for a brand new unit. So you Dodge and Ford guys out there can get it on this to if you like. Like I said If GV offers it as a kit I'll include it in this GB.

It is, there downfall is decel. The design of the laycock unit can hold alot of torque while loaded in forward, but on decel the clutch wants to disengage. This is why they will not sell one to use behind an ALLISON.
 
I called them last year about the deceleration question (for up to a 10K# trailer / 18K# combined) and the response was that the GV could easily handle the deceleration load. There was comment that the GV did have a limit for deceleration load, but it was clearly above 18K#.
 
I gross 36k and my only trucks geared low enough to use one are needed to tow. I'd try one though, been thinking about getting a 3500hd and trying to move the park brake.

This group buy is "geared":) toward the 6.5 trucks mostly, but any OD unit they offer is included in the GB.
