Gauging interest in a new intake adaptor for the ATT

Thats good to know Paul.

Big T, I realized last night I was in such a hurry to get the adaptor mailed that I forgot to put the new bolts in the box. I'll get those mailed Tomorrow.

Leroy, can you throw in some Oil Filter 4wd adapter O-rings? Send me a Paypal invoice for them.

Thanks

Paul, the air intake is coming from Bill Heath. I talked to him last week. Remember I traded a set of polished PYOs for this.

I talked to Colby and he's trying to get the time on Saturday. His wife's B'day is on Monday.

I remember the trade, I just don't know which CAI you got. Generation 1 (S&B) or Generation 2. Regardless, they'll work fine with the ATT, it'll just be a question of where on the fender they'll bolt, inside or outside mounting holes. I'll try to get a shot of that discussion point too but it's starting to snow here....

Gen II Heath. Super duper 9 layer paper filter.

Sounds great.
Can't wait. 635 is in TX for his latest project. I'll let him post that up. I hope he'll be able to get to town soon enough to perhaps join in too. We'll see.
I'll bring purple paint and anything else you two think might be needed. PM or call with the list. Perhaps a we can take a few photo's and Colby can use them in a new thread?

I'll let Colby make the call on paint color ;-)

Please bring any knowledge you might have on installing a FRC-10. Current lift pump is stock and it's quite rusty down there, which has me nervous. I did get Leroy's quick connects. Just haven't done that job. Everything else, I've done.

Here's a shot of the two mounting holes in the fender. The outer one is clearly visible where the inner hole has the grommet inserted.

Second shot is how the opening in the fender and the S&B CAI line up with the ATT. There is enough play in the coupler at the turbo that one could widen the mounting hole in the S&B to line up even better if desired. NOTE: It looks worse, top to bottom, than it really is because of camera angle.
IMHO, it isn't enough to warrant the time but that's up to the individual owner.

Leroy, hope these few shots help you market them as Heath no longer does. Feel free to pull the shots and use them as needed for your sales and customer's questions.

This is the plug I used when I had the stock K47 Elbow on. I cut off the bolting attachment thing and sanded it down real nice and pretty. It has a flange around it also witch is nice so it wont be sucked in. Some silicone could be used also to glue it inplace.

Went to Wink, Texas and did a pickup dually box to flatbed.

Maybe Paul will post the picture.

Been wanting one for quite sometime and now I got one. Just a straight across trade, all the flatbeds I had been looking at were some big dollars, just cost me fuel! Not a fancy one, but a good one. I'll dress it up just a little, got to match the car trailer in the lights department. Equipment to lift the bed off but a lot of wrench turning, that is for sure!

Wink, Texas, Roy Orbision's home town. Don't everyone start singing "Pretty Woman", OK?

Depending on what time I get out of Phoenix, Saturday if I will make it to Big T's.

Im working on yours now Paul. I bought some purple paint today (no joke). Should have it done in the next day or two.

I think it would be great to take lots of pictures of process on the truck. It's just like 'reading' a Playboy. The articles are good but the pictures are great.

Although I have an interest I'll just replace the boots for now as I already modded my intake. Joined the scare the you know what out of the passengers by blowing off a boot at full boost with the 1995 BD equipped rig. They thought an AC line blew out. First time I have blown a boot off the ATT setup.

Just mark the diesel porn box "IRS Tax Audit" and it will be left alone by everyone in transit...
