I know I've had a fuel leak for a while now but haven't been able to find it. After reading through someones thread (I can't remember whose) I tried shooting some compressed air from the drain hose (w/ the t valve open of course) to force the fuel back to the tank.
After removing the fuel cap I blew and saw fuel shoot through one of the hoses I had my "t" for my fuel pressure gauge. Loose hose clamp. Tightened it and then tried it again.
This time fuel shot through the black screw down ring (the one the holds the filter in place. I took it off and found that the o ring/gasket on the filter blew out. I reseated it and put it back on and tightened it back up.
I had my son hold the accelerator/rpm's at 3k and had no leaks.
Took it for a test drive then opened the hood and saw fuel leaking down the fuel heater wires.
I guess that is where my problem is. I double checked my input to the ffm and the clamp was tight. When I blew out my gasket/o ring the fuel came out the back side of the ffm ring.
I didn't look like the fuel was coming down the back but it might have been.
I'm thinking of just swaping it out to a racor 230 (I think that is what Missy suggested). My question is am I missing anything or should I do something else?
