So just yank straight out ? I don't even care if I break the wiper switch as it's shot anyway. Just don't want to ruin the stalk. I am hoping the stalk with cruise from the tilt column will plug into the non tilt column without cruise.
Turn the cruise control switch clockwise and it slides out easily. Yanking it out will damage the turn signal switch's plastic housing. When you turn it clockwise(opposite the direction of the wiper functions) that tang on the nd will ine up with the slot in the switch and slide right out. no need tro go yanking on it unless it is rusted in solid.
... with a six-pack for company... yup, done that...Both stalks came out with ease. I can't believe I stared at it for an hour....![]()
