6.5L GMC. Smoking. 61k miles

Hi: Thanks for the reply, I tryed pulling it out of the valve cover and it was still smoking. There doesn't seem to be any blow by, I thought there was, but doesn't seem to be any out of the valve cover ,or oil fill tube or the dip stick.Ill have to do that test with the tubing on the dipstick and see if it draws any water up, that should tell me .I cracked all the injectors and have one that didn't change engine tempo #8. Maybe bad Injector or button that holds the rocker in place. Any Idea how I would tell if its the rocker button? No bad noises. But diesels do make funny noise. Thanks. Mike
 
Yeah, thats the plan if it drys up outside, should try and find so new crush washers for the injectors. Hard to get to #8. Can i do a compression check therw the injector hole? Thanks. Mike
