Anyone know where the build data plate is on one of these? not in dash
Planning to change all fluids
Allison 295 in the trans (much better than Dex VI) and steering/ power brakes
DOT 4 for the brakes
Guess I'm stuck with Orange Dexcool
add coolers for trans (has a wimpy one) and engine
I have found that for trans 1/2 inch lines flow much better than 3/8- will add a filter
IDK about engine yet will uses stacked plate coolers IDK about lines yet
notice lack of baffles between grille and radiator allowing air to flow out wheelwells and not through the AC and Radiator
It has new tires- not my choice but OK
any suggestions appreciated, I will start a thread if appropriate
tks

yep= 22mm
yahoo with an air wrench and 7/8 really did a number on them some not even close to torque New Tire guy gets to buy some new ones
posted this in the wrong thread
thanks

7/8" is basically 22mm(within a few thousandths of each other). The 2500/3500 lugnuts with the hubcaps and the thread on nuts should be 21mm, 1500's are 22mm.

I've never used anything other than a 7/8" socket. Maybe a 12 point socket was used on them.

got out the mic 22mm
21 will not fit, can't find my 22
it's about .010 different than 7/8
I tried a craftsman 6 point 7/8 and it would not get the rounded off one off
I'll try a good 22 6 point when I find mine or I'm off to Sears tomorrow
not something to try Harbor Freight on
good point about the 12 point NVW thanks
otherwise it's plan B the air chisel
still glad I'm in the driveway and not half way to nowhere
I'll try and take all the other ones off first and try and get the rim to move
sometimes that helps
thanks guys

I pulled the hubcap off the other front- looks ok
now tomorrow the rears
Have not found my 22 so go get one tomorrow
would like to get the rounded one off without total destruction
holding a new Craftsman 21 in my hand as we speak but too dark to try tonight
I'll double check tomorrow
21mm is .8268
22 .8661
7/8 .8750
will advise
Have not found my 22 so go get one tomorrow if 21 is a no go big difference almost .040

REPORT
Bought a new 22mm six point impact socket
virtually NO wiggle
7/8 six point has considerable wiggle
7/8 12 point would strip
I replaced the stripped nut as it had considerably more slop than the good nuts
