I have a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 4 wheel drive with either the five three or 5.4 has a rattleing sound between the trans where it bolts up to motor what cause it

Another possibility since you say the trans was just done could be loose converter bolts. Wouldn't be the 1st time somebody didn't tighten them enough and they came loose.

If it is loose bolts, put some Blue Loctite on them.
I put blue loctite on ALL of them. I've been known to add some to new bolts just to be safe. I look at it as cheap insurance. I seen a friend of mine do a trans in a late 90s dodge with a cummins, 1 converter bolt backed out, and it cost almost $2K to fix all the damage.
