I was fueling in Lahoma OK when I saw the procession from the hospital to home... 6.5s as far as the eye could see. But then I've been thatching the lawn and I don't see so well.
Idler, tie rod ends are new. I'll lift it up this morning and wiggle stuff but the ball joints aren't clunking. I know I'm out of adjustment in the steering box and I will replace it ASAP.
Recently my truck has developed strange handling while braking. It'll turn left slightly like the brake end is coming around when on ice. Then the wheel turns left and the truck track to the right. The steering box is at the end of adjustment. New tie rods/drag links haven't helped. I'm...
I checked it on break. Only one code:
35 idle air control sensor circuit fault
Stuff I found points to a failing IP; hoping it might be lingering air bubbles from when the fuel line failed. Maybe some pixy dust will fix it. We'll see.

Looks like I need to crawl around searching for...
Interesting. It does have a TM and a Heath chip. I'd have thought that would make me less vulernable to that. I was at about 3 psi at the time and it's adjusted to allow 12 psi though I rarely see that and today never went above 11 psi...that was about 20 minutes prior to the SES.
Still...

If you do install the Firestone units, know that there's a bunch of symmetrical holes in the frame rail from which to measure and identically place the top brackets.
I'm pulling 6500 to 8000 with my 1/2 ton with 3.42 gears. The difference with a load is astounding. My truck measures the same and it's within the range described in the instructions. Firestones. Dont recall the part but they're Ride Rites.
