Help with making cb less staticy?

Well first off, never wire to the cig lighter. You will get alot of feedback through that alone. Have you adjusted your SWRs? They need to be 1.5 or below. I would go ahead and run power wire to the battery and a good ground to the chassis. If you still have alot of noise then you need to look...

    Toyota Fun Run, Chandler IN

This is usually a lot of fun. Last year was a pretty good turnout and this year will hopefully be even better. I would like to see even more diesels turn up at this years event and beat up on the ricers and mustang boys. Sunday, Oct 12 Toyota Day - Fall Fun Run At Chandler Motorsports Park...

    setup, tire pressure?

45? I run 48psi on the rear on a daily basis. What do you run? If I run more than that my tires will wear out the centers. I think Whitetrash is right though, don't want to go to low in the rear, you will start getting a bounce from the rear and distrubing the front. Again I don't know what you...

    setup, tire pressure?

Be carefull without tierod sleeves!! I ran a 1.90 60ft. without sleeves but had the bars lowered. Don't go to crazy with the boost off of the line.

    setup, tire pressure?

No prob. Let us know what your times are. Is your truck 4wd? If it is do you have tie rod sleeves?

    setup, tire pressure?

What I run is 58 in the front and 35 in the rear. I have 285 D rated tires. Should be a good starting point. Make shure you lower your torsion bars. I launch on boost pressure too, don't worry about rpm. Boost psi is is alot more sensitive than your tach. Last year I could launch @ 12psi and...

    raced 500rwhp '04 cobra

Yea it is the stock tranny. I am waiting to build it untill I turn up the power any more. I don't think I will be able to get him though because he is talking about getting a whipple:driving:. I think I made him a little nervous being that close. He knows that I have plenty more in tuneing:D.

    raced 500rwhp '04 cobra

This isn't a kill but it was alot of fun. I was going with my buddy to take his car to the performance shop to have a few things done to it. He needed a ride back so I drove my truck. His car is an '04 competition orange cobra with upper and lower pulleys putting up 18psi on the ported stock...

    Anyone runnin' CB's?

HAHA, that is funny. I looked back but didn't see them. I guess I am going blind. I really like that bracket you have. My toolbox wouldn't work like that though it has to much of an overhang. I just put my antena on top of my truck for better reception/transmision. That is one heck of a...

    Service Brake System

I had this come up on me right before I changed the batteries. They got weak on me. I also had it come back up on me after I replaced them. The positive terminal on the drivers side came loose on me....my fault. After that it never came back. Check your batteries and your connections.

    Anyone runnin' CB's?

Thanks! I like it alot. I had to change my antena location. This cb seems to be more sensitive than my last one(superstar 121) to that sort of thing. I like the Texas Rangers too. That would be one of my top choices for a radio. What is your Ranger putting out? Do you have pictures of your setup?

    Anyone runnin' CB's?

I have a Galaxy DX959(30watts) and a white tornado 225+(225 watts) for a linear on a Dave made antena talking through an astatic noise canceling mic. I can talk to four different towns on a clear night with mine and with my buddys in thiers. It is real nice when you live in the middle of no were...
