Well first off, never wire to the cig lighter. You will get alot of feedback through that alone. Have you adjusted your SWRs? They need to be 1.5 or below. I would go ahead and run power wire to the battery and a good ground to the chassis. If you still have alot of noise then you need to look...
WOW:eek:! That is some damage. I am glad you are soon to be up and running. Good luck with the build and we will be waiting for those pics and the startup vid, if you can get one of course.:D
This is usually a lot of fun. Last year was a pretty good turnout and this year will hopefully be even better. I would like to see even more diesels turn up at this years event and beat up on the ricers and mustang boys.

45? I run 48psi on the rear on a daily basis. What do you run? If I run more than that my tires will wear out the centers. I think Whitetrash is right though, don't want to go to low in the rear, you will start getting a bounce from the rear and distrubing the front. Again I don't know what you...
What I run is 58 in the front and 35 in the rear. I have 285 D rated tires. Should be a good starting point. Make shure you lower your torsion bars. I launch on boost pressure too, don't worry about rpm. Boost psi is is alot more sensitive than your tach. Last year I could launch @ 12psi and...
I bet they are haveing some john boat races down town in some places, you just have too look. We might be doing the same thing here soon, leves are toped out.
Yea it is the stock tranny. I am waiting to build it untill I turn up the power any more. I don't think I will be able to get him though because he is talking about getting a whipple:driving:. I think I made him a little nervous being that close. He knows that I have plenty more in tuneing:D.
This isn't a kill but it was alot of fun. I was going with my buddy to take his car to the performance shop to have a few things done to it. He needed a ride back so I drove my truck. His car is an '04 competition orange cobra with upper and lower pulleys putting up 18psi on the ported stock...
HAHA, that is funny. I looked back but didn't see them. I guess I am going blind. I really like that bracket you have. My toolbox wouldn't work like that though it has to much of an overhang. I just put my antena on top of my truck for better reception/transmision.
That is one heck of a...
I had this come up on me right before I changed the batteries. They got weak on me. I also had it come back up on me after I replaced them. The positive terminal on the drivers side came loose on me....my fault. After that it never came back. Check your batteries and your connections.
Thanks! I like it alot. I had to change my antena location. This cb seems to be more sensitive than my last one(superstar 121) to that sort of thing. I like the Texas Rangers too. That would be one of my top choices for a radio. What is your Ranger putting out? Do you have pictures of your setup?
I have a Galaxy DX959(30watts) and a white tornado 225+(225 watts) for a linear on a Dave made antena talking through an astatic noise canceling mic. I can talk to four different towns on a clear night with mine and with my buddys in thiers. It is real nice when you live in the middle of no were...
