Wanted to get a little seat time in for further review. Went out yesterday (cold pisses me off night riding) and went out solo this morning to visit a couple car shows. What I discovered is the weather people don't know their asses from a hole in the ground as I got caught in the rain. Luckily I...
Yup :D
I like!
I forgot to take a picture off it today, the shocks were a real ballbuster. I mean a REAL ballbuster. Full report tomorrow. Teaser, they the shocks, new ones 422 Progressive Suspension, blow away the stock and the POS I had on there.
I didn't know Harley had one of those air...

If all goes well I'm going to put them on this afternoon. That's if I can sneak away and go pick up the scoot at lunch. My only opportunity to install them as...
I put a new air cleaner set up on mine that I had kickin around for over a year. One of those open ones that hang off the engine facing forward looking like it's going a hundred miles an hour standing still! :D
I did that while putting on the OEM 3m vinyl guard on the rear fender...
If it isn't raining perhaps I'll cruise on in. I should be out and about (weather permitting) as at Yankee Harley Davidson May 3 has a all Mopar show going on I plan on attending. Location Bristol
I was just there and they have a 70 Hemi Cuda on display. :D
We had a real nice warm up this weekend and although not my first time out I really got some seat time in!
Friday it was kind of cool but I managed to ride a little over 200 miles! Unfortunately 99% interstate but riding. I rode hard and fast (:nono:) enough that my ears were ringing for two...
Well the code is Incorrect 2nd gear ratio. 99% of the time means a bad clutch. Perhaps your a 1% and it's the Manifold switch or a solenoid. There is ways of testing at the harness pins. Get a Allison manual
Po700 is just a code that states the TCM is or has a code stored.
How much power are you running through it? Just doing the Transgo is only going to hold so much. Your going to have to drop the pan to diagnose and see what if any debris is in there.
If your lucky and there is none then you might have a solenoid problem or pressure switch issue. Either or the...
Hmmmm I don't recall but it may have been losing a accurate signal for awhile and you hadn't noticed. Also there is a fast acting thermocouple EGT probe available and also depth of the probe could change readings some.
I really never pay attention to just cruising EGT temps at say seventy MPH...
Could just be the quality of fuel. Are you just buying fuel at one location?
Does it do it smoke all of the time or for instance only at cold start up and or only at full operating temperature?
Do you run any sort of a additive or fuel conditioner?
I got a hold of Benny hopefully he'll chime in. I don't know what type of code reader you're using and most likely it will NOT clear or read ABS or Airbag data.
A tech II would for-sure
Here's the thing about dealers and 'add-ons'
Although some quote the Moss Act good luck. It's timely and expensive. I've said it 100 times it is best to have a good relationship with your selling dealer, they want your business.
Out of sight ,out of mind,is good but certain things like...
Your basically stuck unless you find someone that has access to GM programming. Then you can reflash either or BCM I believe
Silly question have you just tried to clear the Airbag light with a Tech II?
I found out yesterday I could get a Police Officer to do a VIN check . Hmmmm could save some time effort LOTS of effort and money.
Now to find a Officer :D

I was searching for Jeep parts and came across this. Seems reasonable? Four bucks for a lift kit scratch and dent?
