Strange thought, try pulling the overflow tube from the trans and clean it out. Had a similar issue with my 94 and it fixed it after the tube was clear. Full of dirt, salt and gunk. *Note: don't use the tube from a brake cleaner in the hole if it is clogged! You will get dirty.

Also, you will want to get the IP model # off the unit itself incase it has been replaced. IE: I have a 94 cc/dually with the motor replaced and it now has the 5521 IP.

Not to sound stupid but, what are pre-cups and where are they? Ibuild houses not trucks, just drive them and try to look good in them. ;-)

I have to agree with the above statement. If you were to go with a turbo master, you will need to cap off the vac line running to it and verify where your spring is set as well as which hole to set the bolt. I too want to get a better turbo for my 94 beit a GM-8 or even better when the funds...

The 2nd pic looks like my old one, have not pulled the newer one yet. Makes me wonder if that is an issue with the (intermittent) DTC code 78. Did get a couple of things done today. Pics to come when I walk upstairs to get the dang camera. LOL BTW, Very nice job opening that upper plenum up!

You all are killing me with more new ideas.....:eek: I was going to ditch my open AFE coned filter and try to customize something out of the origional box that is in the truck. The top would be open(but closed from heat due to the hood), the snorkel removed and the "hose" hole from turbo...

I'm just getting used to the cc/dually. I started off with 9mpg. Changed tranny fluid and filter and did oil change, then 10.5. Ran cleaner etc and just drove it like normal and now am above 12.2mpg. I have not yet installed the stacks, custom AIT, or other goodies I wanted to transfer over. I...

I bought mine at AutoZone for like $6.00. Socket make specifically for the OPS. I believe it fit the 1/2" ratchet.

Do a search on the dodge mirrors. I would post the link but can't remember what it was.... There is a nice black & red cc/swlb with them on there that look real nice! That is what had me looking at doing this swap until things broke and then I saw the ones I wanted.... Should be soon!
