1995 K2500 front loosing brake fuild not visible leaks

New issue just started, front reservoir keeps loosing fluid? No visible wet spots under the vehicle, none int he engine compartment. About to pull the rear wheels off to investigate, anyone else had a similar problem. More to follow once I get into visual inspection.

1995 6.5 IP leaks and replacing seals

We are on the same thought path, plus if it was supposed to have a round cross section and it is square now, would completely explain the weeping of fuel, well previous weeping of fuel, it don't leak now. Still I keep checking it every time I raise the hood. Time to work on the other little...

1995 6.5 IP leaks and replacing seals

I plan to monitor it daily for a week, then periodically. Still have improvements to apply under the hood and elsewhere. The choice of the high temp fuel resistant material as deliberate. More to follow in a week, or longer I hope. Of course the ultimate would be to finally sort out the part...

1995 6.5 IP leaks and replacing seals

While installing the Leroy Diesel PMD relocation kit, I took the time to pull the OS from the top of the IP. Also cleaned up routing of hoses and wiring. No luck sourcing the slightly unusual o-ring locally. It's cross section was square not round. Permatex High Heat/Fuel Resistant BLACK...

    First Diesel Truck

Leroy Diesel is as good as he claims, his relocation kit was all I needed and installed in 15 minutes, that included removal of the intake plenum to reach the PMD and pull the connector off. Really like the location behind the bumper!.

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

Where to purchase that pin, I need to fix mine. It is just about same amount of bend, spring popped out, the door likes to swing too hard without it

    First Diesel Truck

The original grill, head lights and signals were all damaged or not working, so replaced it all with aftermarket, just need to be creative with the missing emblem, on the middle of the grill, thought about some sort of symbol. Bow Tie is just too pricey on eBay for me right now with so many...

1995 6.5 IP leaks and replacing seals

I was hoping that is the case, just trying to sort out what size o-ring to replace it with, did not want to but will consider formagasket type material to seal around the current o-ring and the cover plate. This appear to be my only source of fuel leaks, the Filter Module is dry and all rubber...

1995 6.5 IP leaks and replacing seals

I will double check it, the clamp on it was loose when I first checked it, thought I tightened it back up, but not sure. All the fittings appear to be tight. After I can get the correct o-ring for the OS and swap it out, then i will clean and dry the top of the IP, it is difficult to sort out...

1995 6.5 IP leaks and replacing seals

It would seem that OS is what is leaking/weeping while running, any tell me what size o-ring I should procure to repair it??

I have the relocation kit for the PMD, just have to do the installation when the weather and my off days work together, not lucky enough to have a garage. Remote OIL filter kit also to install, also new oil cooler lines. got those as the originals are not leaking but maintenance now should...

1995 6.5 IP leaks and replacing seals

I cannot easily determine, but it appears to be near the snap ring, not disassembled anything yet. Getting images that showed an active leak were difficult, seems more like a weep, not a drip or flow. How the attached images give someone a clue? Can you just replace that o-ring and seal for...

Able to drive her when I want now, speedometer actually now within 5 MPH when going down the road, no certain if I want to tey and adjust the controller. Now running down the little things, like cracked vacuum lines, poor grounds, shorted horn, no major electrical gremlins, YET. I enjoy...

1995 6.5 IP leaks and replacing seals

Used 1995 K2500, correcting issues as I find them. Cleaned and dried the engine around the intake, not taken anything apart, small leak/weep around the top of the injector pump. No clue how old the pump is, previous owner did not recall. Can you just purchase a seal kit for the pump, the...

    First Diesel Truck

Picked up a 1995 Chevy Silverado K2500 with 6.5 L Turbo couple months back, knew it needed some TLC but it cranked and drove decently enough. Well first trouble was the manual transmission was not going into gear with clutch in at idle, in gear and start able to drive but shifting was not...
