But as said in the 2nd post I would be able to use the 06 style on my 03 and then some wiring to get all of it working, turn signal and heat. I have the rear defroster and I could do as the post in another section that shows how to wire into the harness for the signal?
Thanks again for the help...
Yes I do have that option. When I bought this truck it seemed like a very bland vehicle but I still got because I could pay cash and be done with it. Now I wish I could have looked some more maybe?
But not having all the wiring in the doors, will I be able to hook into the wiring harness without a lot of hassle, does it mess up the computer crap or that type of stuff as well. I can also get the 06 mirror because the turn signal and heat is all I want?
Thanks again for more thought on this...
I know that this subject has been beat to death but I have the chance to get some 08 new style mirrors for my truck thru my step sons work I can get for under $200 each.
My truck is an 03 with MANUAL rollup windows, no power windows and no power key fob. Where I work we wire the fire trucks...
The trailer is at a Camping World dealer and there is another Camping World/ Jayco dealer just down the road abut 20 miles away as well here where I live. I will keep looking for a hitch as well.
My wife and I finally have agreed to look at a 5th wheel. I have had my popup since 1989 and want to get something nicer. We have found a couple 06 Jayco 28 ft trailers that will work. I have been researching for a couple yrs and have decided on a couple of them that would work behind the...
My first wife had a Chevette and that thing ran forever. This sounds like a fun car with all the stuff included. I would try anyway to get it. Set your limit and stick to it
Mixing those two is NOT a good idea. When we are building the Fire Rescue trucks and those two come to gether we have to put a barrier tape between them. THey also get a grease to keep the electrolisis (sp) from happening. The stainless will eat the aluminum up over time.
I will echo everything that has been said here. I have been GM most all of my life with the exception of a 73 340 Plymouth Duster.
Then again my 03 DA has less than 35K on it so I will have it for along time I hope. My lumina is getting worn out so I might be looking in the future but we will...
When I was in high school in the early 70's I had the chance to buy a 64 SS from a friend of my dads, I turned him down because it was RED which I did not like. What I would give for that darn thing now!!
I am a whoose that never felt the need to tear up the thing that cost so dang much I couldnt afford to fix there fore just up and down paved roads for me most of the time
Throwing this out as I am in need of tires soon as well, BUT my truck it 2WD so I dont need the same tires as a 4WD. Suggestions would also be appreciated here as well.
Would the 265 be needed for my application?
When I have got new tires I get them and then take it to the local Bear alignment and they spin the tires on the truck to balance and then align. They last a lot longer in my book that way
That is what I was going to suggest as paint on aluminum wheels needs them scuffed, a good acid etching primer and then you hope the paint sticks. Powder coat does a whole lot better.
I seen on the news this evening on a series they are doing on people in the United States that are doing good even in the economic downturn. B& W hitches in Kansas were on to night. The owner said even with business down almost 50% his employees are like family so he could not lay them off. So...
