    airdog install instructions

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the install instructions for the airdog. I'm debating if I want to go that route and would like to read through the instructions. They don't seem available on the manufacturers web site and a google search didn't turn up much. Thanks

    Fuel filter spacer

If anyone is interested in making the spacer that moves the fuel filter housing away from the engine a little so you can get a strap wrench onto it easier , here are the measurements from the one I just made today. I just used some 7/16 in. steel plate that I had laying around. Anything from 3/8...

Help! Not Starting After New Fuel Filter

I know how to install an o-ring,I'm an aircraft mechanic and install them daily. The groove on the napa 3910's I have are too small in width to let the o-ring sit as securely as it should. I just ordered some parker/racor pff5544. I guess I'll see if they are any different.

Help! Not Starting After New Fuel Filter

you just answered a question I've had for a while about the o-ring groove. I've been using napa gold 3910 filters I bought from a vendor here. The groove for the o-ring is one of the crappiest setups I've ever seen,it doesn't retain the o-ring for crap and if you even look at it sideways...

    Fuel leak

if the sender is leaking you need the tank full to see it leak, as far as removing the sender, remove one electrical plug, the vent line with the hose clamp, the other 2 lines you need a release tool that slips in and expands a retaining ring to get them off. sears has a cheap plastic set for...

you guys using weight distributing hitches?

After looking at this pro pride and ha hitch I have one question for those that have either. I'm not real familiar with them but it looks like the main head stays on the trailer and you back the "stinger" into it,is that correct? How hard is that to actually hook up ?

Chicago to Grand Canyon run info request

Thanks for the input. I'm just trying to see which route may be more senic or have more to see along the way. I've driven 80 into Wyoming on hunting trips so I know what to expect up that point. Just curious if the 70 or 40-44 route offers more. Any must sees or don't waste your time with...

crap, broke a leaf spring 3 hrs from home

Just got back from a 4 day trip and broke a leaf spring on my 99 24' fleetwood trailer on the way home 3hrs out. Had to leave it a trailer repair business in Wi. Going to have all 4 replaced with new sets with an extra leaf. They thought the same as I have always felt, that the springs seemed...

Chicago to Grand Canyon run info request

We did a Yellowstone run this year with our 24 fleetwood trailer. I'm in the early stages of planing a Grand Canyon run for next year. I was originally going to run 80 most of the way. But when I pumped it into streets and trips it wants to run south to st louis and then use 44 & 40 taking a...

    the everpopular wax thread

I have used the meguires #26 for a few years and really like it. I tried the Zymol because a few of my friends rave about it. I tried it on the body and thought it was ok but found it leaving some water spots behind that the meguires took off easily. My retrax cover (lexan) has alway been hard...

    the everpopular wax thread

There better be more than the truck getting polished for that :ihih: my preference is meguires #26 on the body and zymol ( the cheaper $15 bottle from autozone) on the lexan retrax cover. The zymol is much easier to wipe off the retrax but I like the finish of the meguires on the paint bettter.
