Here are some results...hope it helps..
Hello fellas! Well Yep..I did some research..here is what I found....
First off I must say...I believe my Dual Tank Module IS WORKING the way it should.
A few weeks back, I noted that when my truck would reach a 1/4 tank of fuel..It would act up...
By the way.....The last photo presented was the GM factory mounting bracket for the Vacuum soleniod. I removed it and modified it, in order to install the Ford relay, wanted a cleaner look. I no longer have the need for the Vacuum soleniod. My Trurbo is now mechanical.
I hope anyone seeing...
Hello all!! I finally got around to installing a Glow Plug realy to extend "Glow" time. Posted some pictures. Hope it helps out.
Stock GM, Glow Plug Controller, Upper left around 11:00 Area.
Relay from Ford truck, Junk yard, Cash for clunker, Mint, 5.00 Dollars.
Momentary Push to "on"...
YES...I agree with the last two posts. When you remove the cluster, clean the copper connectors on the circut board, where it all meets up, where it makes contact with the Molex connector. They get dirty....cause all kinds of havoc.
Cheers!

Missy,
Ok I understand the removal process a whole lot better now. Thanks!
I can also see how it would be better to send the unit out for re-build, as the shop would have the correct tools for the job to be done.
I will get those Fuel lines from the junker...
Matt,
Well........was it like that BEFORE I washed? Good question.
Sunday, I removed the sensor, Had to make a puller with a screw, because the hold down tab broke off. I will post pictures later. Anyway...wow...when I got the sensor out...It was shot!
Dry rotted and the wires...

Cheers...

My questions are:

Hello. I MAY not be able to do the Fuel sender checks today. I sure will try though. I used up more fuel, and gauge is reading A little under Half.
I will be batteling, on removing a Crank Position Sensor. I went to pull it last night, because the wires going into it are...
Vegtech,
Well allright...that was some good information! Thank you! Phew...I was not hearing things! :smile5:
I know that crank sensors will wreak havoc with the ECU, and get things all out of wack. Never really dealt with one in a Diesel though.
Cheers!
